- Community Pool – The Pools at the recently built Rosemary Recreation Complex feature all kinds of water enjoyment. During the summer season, they offer free swim time, private and group lessons, swim team, aquatic classes like aqua aerobics and much more. There is even a water slide and water splash and play area. Single and family seasonal memberships can be purchased as well as day passes and guest passes. - Have a picnic – It is easy to set up an outdoor dining experience in one of Needham’s many parks or conservation areas. If you have little ones, Perry Park located of Beaufort Ave- has a sprawling green grassy area to set up your picnic as well as toddler playground. Green’s Field offers nice green space in the heart of town where you can set up a picnic, as well as enjoy a playground for the kids. Best of all, being right in Needham Center, you are a super short stroll over to Abbotts Frozen Custard for a special sunny day treat when you are done!
