Traci Shulkin
Switching her career from accounting to real estate was an easy decision for Traci Shulkin. As a CPA who held positions at Goldman Sachs and Fidelity Investments, Traci soon realized she was more interested in design and construction than in debits and credits. She desired a career she could be passionate about and wanted to work directly with clients instead of being behind a desk.
As she began her real estate career, Traci made it her goal to be available 24/7 to her clients to help them navigate and simplify the complex buying and selling process. She has made it her objective to be her client’s “forever” Realtor, helping them through the different stages of life, from the starter house to the bump up and then when they are ready to downsize. She loves working with a wide variety of buyers and sellers, whether it is a first-time homebuyer or a new construction builder, and everything in between.
Traci’s strong reputation in the real estate community has helped her gain access and knowledge of off market listings and she makes it a priority to learn about listings before they hit the market. Providing added value to her clients is an integral part of Traci’s business plan. Traci is most proud of how a majority of her business is based on referrals from existing and past clients.
Traci created the “Live in” Brand 10 years ago, but has more recently begun to expand the brand. The “Live in” Brand’s underlying goal is to help people understand the different towns in the MetroWest, giving them a feel for what it is like to live in these towns. She uses her blog as a way of getting relevant and useful information out to her audience. She also communicates with the community via her Instagram account and Facebook pages.
Traci specializes in the Weston, Wellesley, Wayland, Needham, Newton and Natick markets. She was named the #1 Sales Agent at her previous real estate company 5 of the last 7 years.
Traci was featured on the cover of the “Who’s Who in Real Estate” Boston Agent Magazine issue in 2019. She was also highlighted in Boston Common’s “Dynamic Women of Boston” issue and has had editorial articles in the Huffington Post, Boston Common and Realtor.com.
Traci comes from an analytical background, so when it came time to expand, she put an extraordinary amount of thought into how to do it in a strategic, smart manner. When she started exploring partnering with another broker, there was only one agent she wanted to work with. Jared and Traci were always the agents working late at the office and she realized they both possessed many of the same values when it came to work and life. It soon became a no brainer that The Traci Shulkin Group and The Jared Wilk Group should merge to form The Shulkin | Wilk Group.
You will see Traci pounding the pavement and working at all hours of the day, but when she has some free time you will find her on the beach or on the ski slopes. A fan of Boston sports, Traci loves attending games with her family. When she is not working, however, her favorite place to be is on the sidelines, cheering on her three children in a variety of sports.
