Traci Shulkin

I don't know where to begin about Traci and The Shulkin Wilk Group. Our family had to relocate to Boston on short notice and she was able to orient us to several suburbs and got us our dream home in a matter of weeks. A consummate professional, Traci was responsive and helpful. After an introductory conversation, she immediately lined up showings and guided us through our first home buying experience. There were many factors she called to our attention in our search that we would not have known to consider without her input. She never exerted any pressure to make a sale--in fact, she talked us out of moving forward on several properties where she didn't see the value. Traci is knowledgeable beyond belief, you tell her a property address and she knows its key details off the top of her head. When it came to negotiating, she wrapped up ours within a few hours in one afternoon. We couldn't be more delighted with our new home and can enthusiastically give Traci our highest recommendation.

Traci helped us buy our first home and the process was much easier than I ever expected it to be. We were living out of the state during our search and only had a few weekends to see as many houses as possible. Traci was organized, brought us to houses that she knew we would like, and was thoughtful of our price range. Traci is very knowledgeable and well-connected. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.

This review has been long overdue. Traci Shulkin, Christine Shechtman and Joanne Baron had helped us buy our home in 2018, and our experience with them was so positive then, that we chose them again without hesitation when we unexpectedly decided to move in April 2020 from greater Boston to the Chicago suburbs. Our experience with the Shulkin group was even more positive this time around. We put our house on the market in late April of 2020 when the pandemic had already started in the US. Traci, Christine and Joanne’s advice on how to price our house and when to put the house on the market was absolutely spot on! When the house eventually went on the market they were extremely careful in organizing the showings. They would schedule prospective buyers for private showings only, being very careful to wipe clean any surface that those who came by the house touched. They themselves made sure to wear masks the whole time and carry hand-sanitizers to ensure safety. It was an amazing display of both professionalism and care. Our house sold within ten days of going on the market, and I suspect a lot of that had to do with the proactivity of our real estate agents, and our willingness to listen to their advice! Chris and Joanne, whom we have interacted with extensively and have come to know at a personal level, are also just simply good people. When we needed real estate agents in the greater Chicago area, Traci’s group connected us with an awesome group within Compass who helped us buy our next home! We would strongly recommend that if you are either buying or selling you should absolutely consider the Shulkin group. Not only is Traci extremely competent, proficient and connected, she has found excellent people to work in her group that made us feel like we were family!

Traci Shulkin worked with us for almost two years to find the perfect home.
