Dedham

Dedham is a town in Norfolk County, Massachusetts. The population was 25,364 at the 2020 census. It is located on Boston's southwest border and is 24 miles driving distance from Boston. On the northwest, it is bordered by Needham, on the southwest by Westwood, and on the southeast by Canton. Dedham has a rich and fascinating history. Settled in 1635 after the General Court issued orders for the establishment of two inland towns to relieve population pressures within existing settlements, Dedham was incorporated in 1636.
