Needham

Needham is a tight-knit, family-friendly suburban community located in Norfolk County, approximately 10 miles southwest from Boston. Aside from its convenient access to the city, Needham is home to a number of good schools that have created an impact in the community. According to 2010 estimates, Needham is home to roughly 28,900 residents. The town is home to a downtown area that’s been known as a hub for local merchants. Expect homegrown restaurants, markets, and businesses lining up the street. Surrounding communities include Wellesley to north and west, Dedham, Westwood, and Dover on the south, Newton on the north, and the West Roxbury neighborhood of Boston on the east. Needham is a small town that encompasses a total area of a little over 12.7 square miles.
