- Volante Farms – A much beloved farm, greenhouse and farm stand store in Needham since 1917, Volante Farms has a seasonal ice cream window that opens generally right after Tax Day in mid-April and goes through Labor Day. However, be sure to check with the website as the months in operation may vary from year to year. They offer delicious hard scoop ice cream by Crescent Ridge as well as frozen yogurt and sorbet options. Coming to Volante farms is a wonderful family experience for so much more than simply getting ice cream. Volante Farms is located at 292 Forest Street.
- Cookie Monstah – As their website says, “Does it get any better?” Freshly baked cookies with Richardson’s ice cream sandwiched in between resulting in a heavenly ice cream and cookie sandwich experience. Create your own masterpiece or choose one of their many specialty sandwiches like The Blueberry Buckle featuring oatmeal cookies and fresh blueberry ice cream.
